The Experience

Gather Around
the Fire

A wood-fired gathering space built for the way people actually want to eat, drink, and spend time together — outdoors, unhurried, around real fire.

More Than a Grill. A Place to Gather.

There is something that happens when people gather around a wood fire. Conversation slows down. Food takes on a different quality. The evening stretches out in a way it never does indoors.

BBQ Grill House is built around that moment. Every structural decision — the open-plan layout, the central grill position, the generous eaves — is designed to keep people close to the fire and close to each other.

It is not a shed with a barbecue in it. It is a purpose-built gathering space, designed from the ground up for wood-fired cooking and the kind of hospitality that leaves a lasting impression.

The wood-fired heart

Cooking Over Real Fire

The wood-fired grill is the centrepiece of the space — not tucked into a corner, but positioned so the cook is part of the gathering. Guests watch the fire, smell the smoke, and feel the heat. That is the experience.

The grill is built for serious cooking. Adjustable height lets you move between a fierce sear and a long, slow smoke. A cast-iron plancha handles fish, vegetables, and flatbreads. The firewood store is integrated into the structure, keeping the space tidy and the fuel dry.

There is no gas, no electricity at the grill. Just wood, fire, and the skill of whoever is cooking.

Four seasons

Built for Every Season

Spring

The First Fire of the Year

As the ground thaws and the days lengthen, the BBQ Grill House comes back to life. Spring cooking is about fresh flavours — asparagus, new-season lamb, whole fish over embers. The wide eaves keep light rain off while the fire keeps the chill at bay.

Summer

Long Evenings, Open Sides

In summer the structure opens up fully. Folding panels let the outside in, and the fire becomes a focal point for long evenings that drift from afternoon into night. This is the season for whole animals, slow cooks, and tables that never quite clear.

Autumn

Smoke and Harvest

Autumn is the best season for wood-fired cooking. The air is cool enough to stand close to the fire, the produce is at its richest, and the smoke carries further on the evening air. Game, root vegetables, and aged cuts come into their own.

Winter

Fire in the Cold

A BBQ Grill House in winter is something else entirely. Snow on the roof, fire inside, the smell of woodsmoke drifting across a frozen landscape. The insulated structure holds heat well, and the fire does the rest. Guests do not want to leave.

The atmosphere

Designed to Slow People Down

The materials are honest — structural timber, natural cladding, exposed joinery. Nothing that needs to be hidden. The space is designed to age well and look better with use.

Lighting is warm and low. The fire provides most of it. LED strips under the eaves handle the rest, on a dimmer so the mood can shift from afternoon prep to late-evening gathering without anyone reaching for a switch.

There is no television, no background music system, no distractions built in. The fire is the entertainment. The food is the event. The people are the point.
